Pioneer Community Center (PCC) is a project owned, managed and developed
by Community Focus Foundation and an initiative of Pioneer Muslim
Federal Credit Union. PCC is dedicated to serving the entire Ismaili
Jamat of all ages, from children through seniors. The center will
provide a safe place for children to play, exercise, socialize, and
develop skills that will be impactful throughout their lives. We hope
this center will ultimately provide an epicenter around which we can
preserve our heritage, culture, and values in the long-term.
The center is owned and operated by the Community Focus Foundation (CFF). CFF is administered by Ismaili members as board of directors on a voluntary basis. The community and CFF are very grateful to Pioneer Muslim Federal Credit Union for the generous gift that allowed for the initial acquisition of the community center site. In recognition of this magnificent donation, CFF is pleased to name the facility Pioneer Community Center.
The center is a huge project based on 44 acres of land and conveniently located in Southwest Houston. The existing 16.3-acre facility offers competitive team sports such as soccer, football, cricket, volleyball, and basketball. The center also includes a dedicated space for seniors to connect, youth activity area, fitness room, meeting space, a full-size commercial kitchen, and locker room facilities. The future plans for the remaining 27.5 acres include state-of-the-art indoor athletic center, swimming pool, tennis courts and many other amenities.
